My work seeks to highlight the humor and nuance in ordinary things. Generally, if I'm not snickering to myself while I'm drawing it, it's not good enough. My experience of a thing is amplified when I draw it, but it's not complete until I've shared it. Much like laughter. Whatever you're laughing at is always funnier when someone else is laughing with you. I believe that art is for sharing: for thinking about or delighting in together. I believe that ordinary experiences are significant, and that their beauty and occasional silliness are amplified when shared. I hope that my doodles here encourage enjoyment in the mundane, appreciation for little things, and a desire to share.
