I’m a slow mover. I’ve been sitting on the idea of building a website for two or three years. Sometimes poking it. Asking myself, “How would I use it, what are my goals, could I even maintain it, is my art good enough for its own website, I don’t read blogs, should I make other people read a blog…?”
I love sharing experiences. Food (my husband isn’t sold on this quality), stories, movies, stupid things that make me laugh. Whittling away everything I thought a website should be let me see that all I really want to do is share my artistic experience.
So, having finally pushed the go button, I present you with doodledbycarrie.com. For those who have trashed social media, you’ll soon be able to keep up with my work here. For those who want to see my work on their water bottle or fridge, or their friends’ water bottles or fridges, you’ll soon be able to purchase some happy shareables right here. I hope you’ll hang with me as I develop this new thing. I’m pretty excited about it.
